visual poem

The bush steams as
I crouch in burning frost
brushing my face in ice

Is it me that begins, or you.

Kia ora Marty,
Ataahua e hoa! And succinct to me as this very day I was driving to the Ruahine for 5 days of solitude. I saw the jewels of these lovely peaks glistening in the new snow as I drove up the highway. I stopped and turned around and have come home to collect to my youngest boy, who desperately wants to see snow. He will see plenty of it. It was as if the the Ruahine from a distance was telling me this. I just Listened. So your words hit home. Kia ora.
